The cottage industry has been operated from the small settlement of Waikino, at the base of the Coromandel Peninsula.

Our products can be produced using any type of timber, however we chose New Zealand Kauri because of its beauty and the ease with which it can be worked. The New Zealand Kauri tree is known by tourists and we market some of our product into the high end of the souvenir market.

We endeavour to use every piece of native timber, hence the smaller pieces such as chopsticks and bookmarks. We always maintain a high level of craftsmanship and pride ourselves on producing a quality New Zealand handcrafted product.
